Northvolt is building a factory in Skellefteå to manufacture green batteries when the world switches to electric power.
But they are not alone, even in Sweden. Now an upstart is taking the first steps towards its own factory in Malmö – they want to create circular batteries that do not require unusual metals such as cobalt.
